Shea Nut Oil - a natural essence derived from the kernel of the African shea tree, rich in 85~90% fatty acids (Omega-6/9), vitamin E and plant sterols.
The processing of shea nut oil involves several key steps such as pretreatment, pressing, and refining,
which can be roughly summarized as cleaning → stone removal → magnetic separation → crushing → roasting → pressing → crude oil filtering → refining → finished shea nut oil.
1. Oilseeds Pretreatment Workshop
Utilizing cleaning sieve, gravity stoner, and magnetic separator for impurity removal.
Crushed kernels from roll crushers enter cylinder roasters for precise moisture/ temperature regulation – rupturing cell structures to optimize pressing efficiency.
2. Pressing Plant Operations
Screw oil press machine exert high-pressure extraction → Horizontal screw centrifuges enable tri-phase separation (oil/water/solids) → Vertical blade filters perform primary crude oil filtration → Maximizing bioactive retention.
3. Edible Oil Refinery Process
The refining workshop mainly uses refining pot, bleaching pot, deodorization pot, etc.
The filtered crude oil goes through a series of refining processes, including degumming, deacidification, decolorization and deodorization, to remove gum, free fatty acids, pigments, etc.
After deodorization, the oil is filtered, cooled and sent to the finished oil tank.
